EXCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP EVENT 2025
Wednesday, 13 August 2025
The Goodwood Park Hotel
We hosted The Clarity Reset: Rethinking Leadership for Complex Times at Goodwood Park Hotel. Over high tea and conversation, 40 leaders from across business, government, and the social sector came together to explore what clarity in leadership truly means.
Our host, Adrian, guided a rich fireside dialogue with Dr. Gervase Bushe, one of the world’s leading thinkers in Organisation Development. The discussion explored complicated and complex challenges, psychological safety, and the key leadership competencies needed to navigate uncertain times.
Building on this, Anita Yap, our principal trainer for Clear Leadership™, led an experiential session that brought to light core concepts of leadership in complex environments. These included self-differentiation—the ability to remain grounded in one’s own perspective while connected to others—and the challenge of “interpersonal mush,” the untested assumptions that cloud relationships and collaboration.
The event also marked a milestone for Erevna Leadership: the launch of Clear Leadership™ as a licensed programme in Singapore. We are proud to bring this internationally recognised framework to leaders here, equipping them with practical approaches to build clarity, trust, and collaboration in their organisations.
Key Takeaways:
Clarity in thought, in self, and in conversations will be the hallmark of leadership in complex times.
A big thank you to Dr. Gervase Bushe and Anita Yap for leading us through this journey, and to all who joined us for an afternoon of learning, dialogue, and connection.

Key Takeaways:
- On Leadership Competencies:
In complex times, leaders need self-management, the discipline to hold space for exploration, the ability to engage diverse perspectives, and the capacity to foster psychological safety. - On Psychological Safety:
Psychological safety is not a general culture or climate. It is rooted in personal, relational experiences. Everyone’s experience is different, and learning as a team depends on whether individuals feel safe enough to describe their own. Leaders cannot manufacture safety for others, but they can show up in ways that avoid creating fear and instead make it possible for people to speak openly. - What is Interpersonal Mush?
Untested stories and assumptions often distort relationships and undermine collaboration. Addressing these directly, in the here and now, strengthens trust and clears the way for effective teamwork.
Clarity in thought, in self, and in conversations will be the hallmark of leadership in complex times.
A big thank you to Dr. Gervase Bushe and Anita Yap for leading us through this journey, and to all who joined us for an afternoon of learning, dialogue, and connection.

We kicked off the year with our Executive Breakfast, this time on the theme “Leadership Trends 2025: Leading A Future-ready Diverse Team”.
A total of 56 senior leaders from 38 organisations, including global multinationals, government institutions and major social service agencies, gathered for a morning of insight and dialogue.
Our host, Adrian Chong, led two thought-provoking fireside chats. First, with Mr. Mickey Connolly, Chairman and Founder of Conversant Solutions LLC, who joined us via Zoom, and Mr. Frank Koo, Founder and Director of Nextplay Pte Ltd, who joined Adrian on stage. Later, we were privileged to hear from Dr. Gregory Neidert, Director of Training, Consulting and Certification for Influence at Work, who stepped in virtually for Dr. Robert Cialdini after an unforeseen incident prevented his appearance.
So what were the key takeaways?
A big thank you to our speakers, Mickey Connolly, Frank Koo, and Dr. Gregory Neidert, for generously sharing your wisdom with candour and clarity. And of course, heartfelt appreciation to all who joined us. Your participation and questions made the event what it was.

EXECUTIVE BREAKFAST EVENT
EREVNA LEADERSHIP held an Executive Breakfast Event with Global Gurus in February. The theme was "Building a Culture of Collaborative Growth".
The event attracted 45 senior leaders from 29 organisations in Singapore. One observation that came out of the post-global pandemic was that leaders would be severely tested. Creating a culture of collaboration becomes our antidote to helping bring up the bloom.
The breakfast event featured a fireside chat hosted by Mr. Adrian Chong in Singapore via Zoom with two global gurus: Dr. Robert Cialdini (“Bob”), a renowned scientist known as the "Godfather of Influence" and a NY Times Best-selling author and Ms. Robin Anselmi, CEO and President of Conversant Solutions LLC.
Bob addressed a whole range of questions and the big elephant in the room: are the Principles of Influence still relevant in this moment in time and are all the research cited in his works relevant to Asia? People are invariably similar as a species when we respond "Yes" or "No"! Therefore, the principles are just as relevant to all. The factor most influential will likely be different between cultures but the principles will still be at work. The best part was when he shared some of his latest research, which has not been published. That was a treat!
Robin was an epitome of authentic human connection. We talked about collaborative conversations, increasing trust levels in organizations, psychological safety and driving a deeper sense of purpose. It was an incredibly rich dialogue, with participants bringing up real challenges and Robin sharing her wealth of experience. Her parting message for all leaders: "Communication and Conversations are the work!"

WORKSHOPS
Shanghai, September 2023Delivering a successful inaugural Principles of Persuasion (POP) workshop in China!
The energy, enthusiasm, and engagement of the participants were remarkable. What struck us most was their keen interest in learning—genuinely curious and open. Their commitment made the learning experience truly exceptional. As we delved deep into the science of persuasion and influence, there were many "aha" moments! Singapore, May 2023A customized workshop was designed and delivered to key leaders from the Catholic Leadership Center.
We were happy to empower leaders to deal more confidently with difficult conversations. While it does not guarantee 100% success, it definitely increases one's probability of success. |
Singapore. April 2023We conducted a Masterclass for Authentic Leadership Conversations (ALC) for a group of enthusiastic and driven senior leaders from Sabic.
Powerful models were employed to create a strong foundation for addressing challenging leadership discussions crucial for global business. These discussions involved real, intricate, and multifaceted cases and were conducted through various methods like case studies, role-plays, and discussions. From the outset, participants engaged in robust conversations, fostering a psychologically safe environment where everyone felt comfortable expressing their thoughts and emotions. Singapore.Back home, our regular public workshops have been largely well received.
A misconception, "Persuasion," is seen in the context of a sales subject. In truth, many practitioners have successfully learned and are applying the science of influence effectively and ethically to their professional and personal lives. In Authentic Leadership Conversations, participants come away with practical tools and techniques to accelerate their leadership capability to collaborate, communicate and influence. |
